Mise was created by someone who's lived and breathed the restaurant business—and knows exactly what it takes to make it thrive.

Daniel Guerithault, a Phoenix native, grew up immersed in the restaurant industry as part of the family behind Vincent on Camelback. From a young age, he worked nearly every role in the business—dishwasher, line cook, food runner, and even managing the wine list. Through these experiences, Daniel developed a deep understanding of how the front and back of the house must work seamlessly together to create exceptional guest experiences. While pursuing an engineering education and later working in the automotive sector for eight years, Daniel never strayed far from his roots in hospitality.

Combining his technical expertise with his hands-on restaurant experience, Daniel set out to build tools that could streamline and centralize all aspects of a restaurant's operations. What started as a solution for his family's restaurant has evolved into Mise, a platform that brings inventory, POS, KDS, gift cards, email marketing, takeout, catering, recipe management, COGS, payroll, and more under one SaaS roof.
