Mise was created by someone who's lived and breathed the restaurant business—and knows exactly what it takes to make it thrive.
Hi, I'm Daniel Guerithault—the person behind Mise. I grew up in Phoenix working every job you can imagine at my family's restaurant, Vincent on Camelback. I've been the dishwasher, line cook, food runner, and even managed the wine list. That experience taught me how a restaurant really works: it's all about getting the front and back of house moving in sync.
After a detour into engineering and nearly a decade in the automotive industry, I found myself drawn back to hospitality. I wanted to make the daily grind of running a restaurant easier—not just for my family, but for anyone who's ever juggled inventory, recipes, payroll, POS, and catering with too many spreadsheets and apps.
That's why I built Mise. It started as a tool for my family, but it's grown into an all-in-one platform for restaurants: inventory, POS, recipe management, payroll, email marketing, catering, takeout, and more—centralized in one place. My goal with Mise is simple: help restaurant owners stay organized, work smarter, and have more time for what actually matters.
